My dad, grandmother, and I along with my girlfriend are DESPERATELY trying to raise money to find a house for us and our three beautiful cats. We’ve sold as many of our expendable things as we can and we still don’t have nearly enough, we need to raise $1,500 dollars at the very least and we are…

Well the situation just got progressively worse… The apartment manager found out that me, my girlfriend, my dad, and our cats are staying here and we’re being told to vacate within the week with NO WHERE to go, and we still only have $170 out of $1,500 raised. So unless we make this happen fast, we’re going to be on the streets, and who knows where our cats are going to be because there is absolutely nowhere for them to go and we just can’t, CAN’T get rid of them, they’re our family too. Please spread this around again..!! I didn’t think the situation could get any worse, I’m on the verge of a breakdown and I don’t know what to do anymore. Anyone who donates anything above $10 dollars will recieve a bust drawing of their choice from me. We need this so badly, please, please help..!!

Tuesday Tips - FOLDSMore on folds today. I will eventually cover all types of folds but today is about simple folds on everyday clothes (t-shirt, jeans). The key is to know what to expect and then applying what you know to simplify what you see in front of you (when life drawing). A lot of the folds dynamics on shirts and jeans come from the “memory” of the fabric itself. Denim is thick and is likely to keep some form of wrinkles or folds around certain areas (knees). A lot of zig-zag patterns around the knee is very likely. When pushed down on the feet, the denim fabric will bunch up and combine with the zig-zag pattern. Shirts and t-shirts will react to the twist and pull of the arms and torso. Identify where the pull (or tension) is coming from and work from it. I tend to draw the seams because they clearly express the volumes underneath.Norm

I ALWAYS need folding tips!

Comics are best when enjoyed with imagination.

Look, it’s super sweet that Cameron took the time to draw these images, but honestly….did you think he wasn’t thinking about movement and ergonomics when he drew it initially?
I know you dipshits want to add your two cents, but Batgirl isn’t real. If I KNEW Batgirl in real life, I’d be talking her out of going on patrol and possibly getting in harm’s way over her fashion choices.
She’s a drawing. She can do whatever we want her to do just by drawing it. Stop dragging reality into your fantasy outlets. Just enjoy yourselves a bit….

And Joel Carroll nails it! Thank you so much dude. It’s nice if a fictional story has a hint of reality in it but don’t let reality intrude in you having fun over fantasy. If not, we won’t have superheroes or science fiction or dragons or elves and stuff.
